Good wine, good food and great service

One of my favorite Italians in Düsseldorf. We had antipasti from the fresh counter, bruschetta, truffle pasta and pasta arrabiata. Everything is fine ❤️

I do not write reviews very often but for this restaurant I like to give a rating. The ambience of the restaurant is very warm and cozy without it looks old-fashioned. The staff and especially the owner are very confident. You do not wait very long for the drinks and the food. A real plus. The menu is clear, which is also a plus. The dishes I ordered were of very good quality. I highly recommend this Italian restaurant.

Real Italian family cuisine, so simple, so wonderfully good, so without pizza. Menu is superfluous here, you just ask Aldo what he has shopped .... and he asks back how and with what you would like. Recently it is also eaten in the beautiful adjoining room, very quaint. However, you should bring some money ....

Top ambience. Food and drink just incredibly good, rarely eaten so well. Staff as the boss himself very friendly and accommodating. Not comparable to other Italian restaurants.

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly, the cook cooks amazing, it tasted incredibly good. Every minute you wait is worth it, because you just feel comfortable there. If I were from Dusseldorf, it would be my favorite place.

Wow!! The evening with Aldo Genovese was an absolute culinary delight. Everything was right from the first minute. We were warmly welcomed and the waitress took a lot of time to present and recommend the day ticket. The food was perfect, freshly prepared and with each bite got more hungry and lust for the Italian cuisine. The timing of appetizer to the main course to the conclusion with the cheese plate was excellent. The prices for food and drink are affordable. We would like to come again

4.6 stars on average? What's wrong with you? That had lured me - and then disappointed. Unfortunately, you can not find 4.6 stars here. In the end, I had mediocre bruschetta and pasta with salmon. The pasta was homemade. The salmon but overcooked and with some of these unappetizing brown spots. I do not come anymore.

The food here is very unique. It would be better if the price could be cheaper.

Family owned by real Italians. The food tasted very good. It is advisable to make a reservation. It is a shame that dogs are allowed especially because it is a small matter. Because of this you smell the dogs enormously and it is not hygienic to give dogs easy access to the kitchen.

Original Italian top restaurant. The cook is making the food as it should be. Very, very good. We have had very relaxed dinners there. Ask the owner for the wine. He is very happy to assist you. It's not all on the card. Owners are authentic Italians. We love going there and recommend it. Better make a reservation, without, you must be lucky to get a table.

Service was friendly, food was good. Portions were pretty reasonable and sufficient and bigger than we expected given some other rating here. We had various pasta dishes, beef filet and lamb. Prices were ok given quality and size of dishes.

A very good italian restaurant with a small but good menu, the wine list is suitable for the corresponding dishes. Relaxed, cozy atmosphere with attentive but not intrusive operation. The recommendations of the day are real recommendations that you can follow. Price moves you in an area that is appropriate. You can tell that in the kitchen the food is prepared with commitment. Really recommended!

I've visited a lot of good Italian restaurants in and around Düsseldorf, but THIS one beats everything. A visit to the small Trattoria of the Genoveses is always a pleasure! Aldo is a warm-hearted host, his wife conjures up fresh Italian classics in the open kitchen. The antipasti in the display case prove how great it can conjure up - delicious! No matter whether you choose pasta with herbs or truffles, prawns or sole, veal liver or saltimbocca, tiramisu or panna cotta - Signora Genovese makes more of it. There is a large selection of good wine to go with it, as evidenced by the wine rack that reaches to the ceiling. By the way, you won't find any pizza here.

Delicious homemade pasta, good service and friendly staff! We even got some free antipasti to start with.
